Edge Hockey offers comprehensive goalie development programs tailored to all skill levels, from youth to NHL caliber. Our goalie skills training covers a range of essential techniques and strategies. Goalies will learn the nuances of post integration, including RVH, Standing, VH, Hinges, and Post-to-Post work, ensuring they're prepared for any situation. Additionally, goalies will master reading the rink, understanding angles such as Dead angle, 45, House, and No Angle, to position themselves optimally. Hand placement techniques, including Blocking and Active methods, will be honed, along with precise tracking skills to read shots accurately. Crease movement and skating will be emphasized, encompassing techniques like Lateral release, Center shift, T-Push, Shuffle, Power push, and Butterfly slide, while maintaining balance by not overusing inside edges. Understanding crease depth and width is crucial, teaching goalies where to be within the crease and how to control stance width effectively. At Edge Hockey, we're committed to elevating every goalie's game to the next level.
